About Us
Little Okie Academy is a family-focused early childhood education center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and motivated CDA or Master Teacher to join our team.
CDA or Master Teachers are responsible for creating a safe, engaging classroom environment while delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and maintaining strong communication with families.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement daily curriculum supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom using consistent and supportive guidance
- Oversee daily routines including personal care, hygiene, and learning activities
- Complete and maintain classroom documentation, developmental assessments, and progress reports
- Ensure classrooms consistently meet safety, cleanliness, and licensing standards
- Communicate with parents through daily updates and scheduled conferences
- Follow all state licensing regulations and Little Okie Academy policies
Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) certification required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Warm, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Consistent professionalism in appearance, attitude, and work ethic
