Job Description:
Looking for M-F 10am- 6:30pm and 12pm - 8:30pm , with flexibility to work weekend days once trained. Experience is entry level. Principal accountabilities Prepares and accurately determines metal content and other properties of matrix materials. Applies established instrumentation or analytical methods, to support refining, catalyst and chemical production, development, and/or other JM departments. Compares instrument performance and/or assay results with standards, reporting any deviations from specifications to a Senior Level Chemist or Laboratory Supervisor, and independently initiating corrective action as required. Prepares and maintains proper analysis documentation, including summarized test data and procedures. Uses all laboratory equipment safely, cost effectively and accordingly to job requirements. May be responsible for the management of hazardous wastes in the lab. Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work area. Assist with document tracking and maintaining quality assurance. May perform other related assignments as determined by the immediate supervisor. Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
