Battle Axe Construction is in seeking a self-directed and experienced Laborer to assist with completing all projects safely, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for wearing PPE daily, reporting to job sites on time, assist the Operator/Foreman with completing project scopes, keep job sites organized, safe and clean. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is a hard worker, efficient and safe, with the ability to communicate and work closely with the Foreman and other staff.

Answer/Monitor company phone calls and messages

Deliver all receipts, dump truck tickets, and documents to Foreman/Operator

Keeps tools, equipment, and materials maintained and organized

Signs in/out allocated equipment

If operating equipment: performs pre-trip inspections, checks all fluids, and greases machines
daily -
Keep trucks moving safely and efficiently

Keeps traffic away from crews, trucks, and equipment

Self-motivated and self-directed

Ability to work closely with a senior management team and administration team members

Prior experience on construction sites is preferred

Strong Jobsite organizational skills

Ability to follow safety procedures, stay focused on fast-paced job sites
