Vermeer Midsouth Inc. has been in business for 39 yrs and is rapidly growing. We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in helping serve our customer base. Maintain the highest quality and integrity in servicing our customers and fellow employees.
Qualifications:
· Hydraulic experience required
· DC Electrical experience required
· Diesel engine experience
· Must be able to read electric and hydraulic schematics
· CDL is a plus!
This position will include a strong mechanical aptitude in trouble-shooting, diagnosing problems, and be knowledgeable in equipment operations and functions. This would also include computer skills. Must be self-motivated in assuming and completing tasks assigned. A team player with a pleasing personality, integrity, and an ability to adapt under a stressful environment of customer downtime will be necessary.
Must have at least 5 years experience with heavy equipment.
