Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, organized office staff employee to join our growing company. In this position, you will assist in daily operations and clerical tasks. You should possess incredible multitasking and organizational skills, be able to effectively prioritize assignments, and complete those assignments in a timely manner. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and customer service focus are a must.
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive and process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery of order information to the production floor.
- Interpret and prioritize order requirements based on specific customer needs and production schedules.
- Collaborate closely with multiple departments (e.g., production, inventory, and logistics) to coordinate and communicate order details and updates.
- Maintain accurate records of order statuses and internal documentation.
- Perform routine inventory counts of materials and products essential to order processing tasks.
- Use office equipment (e.g., computers, printers, copiers) to manage documentation and internal communications.
- Identify and report issues related to order discrepancies, missing information, or workflow interruptions.
- Monitor internal email and communications to stay up-to-date on interdepartmental requests and directives (no direct customer communication required).
- Complete delegated tasks independently while also supporting team and management objectives.
- Basic Accounting Knowledge
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer literate; proficient using Microsoft Office & Excel.
- Confident using office machinery.
- Fast and proficient typist.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer service skills.
- 3-7 years’ experience in an office setting.
