Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse settings. Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to inform care plans.
- Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following strict protocols and safety standards.
- Manage complex clinical procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, wound suturing, and ventilator care.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and diagnostic evaluations for diverse patient populations.
- Provide specialized care for patients with chronic conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or long-term disabilities in assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
- Respond promptly to urgent situations including acute pain management, emergency triage, or trauma care in Level I or Level II trauma centers.
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in good standing with the ability to obtain necessary state-specific certifications.
- Proven experience working with geriatric patients, including long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding (ICD-9/10).
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks.
- Demonstrated competency in critical care environments such as ICU or emergency room settings; trauma center experience is highly preferred.
- Skilled in IV infusion techniques, medication administration including injections and venipuncture.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
- Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver communication and patient education.

Pay: $1,700.00 - $1,850.00 per week
Work Location: In person
