What You'll Do
As a Pest Control Technician, you'll manage your own service route throughout Central Indiana.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing residential pest control services
- Treating common pests including ants, spiders, centipedes, millipedes, and other household pests
- Inspecting homes and identifying pest issues
- Communicating with customers and educating them on treatment plans
- Maintaining equipment and service vehicles
- Providing outstanding customer service
As your knowledge and certifications grow, you'll also receive training on commercial pest control services and more advanced pest management programs.
No two days are exactly the same, which keeps the job interesting and rewarding.
Experience Preferred, But Not Required
We are willing to train the right person.
If you have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, we will teach you everything you need to know about pest identification, treatment methods, customer communication, and industry best practices.
That said, we do give preference to candidates who already have experience in the pest control industry.
Ideal candidates may have:
- Previous pest control experience
- An Indiana Registered Technician (RT) license
- Experience performing residential pest control services
- Experience with customer-facing service work
- Knowledge of common household pests
Licensed and experienced technicians may qualify for higher starting pay based on experience and certifications.

Compensation
Starting pay: $18 per hour (if no experience) plus bonus
Production bonuses can add up to $4 per hour.
Most technicians earn approximately $22 per hour.
Experienced technicians can earn up to $26 per hour or more with bonuses and certifications.
Additional bonus opportunities are available through customer review programs and performance incentives.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM until approximately 5:00 PM or when your route is complete
- Consistent 40-hour work week
- Weekend work is very rare
