We are a busy pain management practice looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for our Beaufort, SC location. This position offers room for growth and paid training. As a Medical Assistant you will provide support to our medical providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm and every other Friday 8am-1pm. No weekends. This requires travel
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history in the medical chart
- Follow up on requested records and orders
- Educate patients on provider orders
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
