Lawn Technician
Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Lawn Technician Crew Leader to join our EKG Lawn Services, LLC team in Midlothian, VA. This role is responsible for driving a truck with a trailer, supervising other crew members, the daily maintenance of our clients' lawns, and other landscape maintenance tasks like cleanups and mulching. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, and be able to prioritize tasks based on importance, and have great eye for detail. We are looking for someone who is a team player, takes accountability, and has a good attitude. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, and take on additional tasks, and who wants to move up the ladder and make more money! What we offer you:

Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
- Must have no violent or theft charges on criminal record
- Ability to drive and backup a truck and trailer safely
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with his or her back turned
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Experience with mowing, trimming, pruning, mulching, etc. is a plus!
- Experience with power equipment (zero turn mowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)is a plus!
Responsibilities:
Mowing, string trimming, mulching, shrub trimming, and perform other landscape maintenance tasks.
- Clean up any debris that may be left at the job site.
- Ensure that tools and vehicles are in good working order.
- Maintain the appearance of all vehicles on the property.
- Maintain the equipment and supplies used on the job site (e.g., lawn mowers, leaf blowers).
EKG Lawn Services, LLC offers are contingent upon attendance at an ongoing training program located inside an EKG Lawn Services, LLC facility. The training program will consist of one-on-one instruction on how to perform various landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, etc., as well as how to use power equipment such as mowers and weed whackers. The training program will also include company safety rules and regulations as well as how to properly report any safety concerns or emergencies that may arise during the workday.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
