Cosmetic Sales Representative
Job Summary
Tokimo is seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Cosmetic Sales Representative to join our beauty retail team. In this role, you will assist customers with skincare, makeup, and beauty product selections, maintain an attractive store environment, support daily sales operations, and help create a welcoming shopping experience.
The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, comfortable communicating with customers, and able to stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment. Experience in cosmetics, skincare, Asian beauty products, retail sales, or cashiering is preferred but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product questions and recommendations
- Help customers choose suitable skincare, makeup, haircare, and beauty products based on their needs
- Operate the POS system accurately for sales, returns, discounts, and payment processing
- Maintain clean and organized shelves, displays, testers, and checkout areas
- Restock products, check shelf availability, and report low-stock or out-of-stock items
- Support visual merchandising by keeping displays attractive, organized, and easy to shop
- Monitor product condition, including opened, damaged, misplaced, or missing items
- Assist with inventory checks, price tags, promotional displays, and product organization
- Provide friendly and professional customer service in person and over the phone
- Support social media or promotional content when needed, including product photos, short videos, or new arrival updates
- Follow store policies for attendance, appearance, cashiering, product handling, and customer service
- Work with the manager and team members to maintain a clean, efficient, and positive store environment
Qualifications and Skills
- Interest in beauty, skincare, makeup, haircare, or Asian beauty products
- Previous retail, beauty, cashier, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills; bilingual ability in English and Mandarin/Korean/Japanese is a plus
- Comfortable using a POS system and handling basic retail transactions
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to stay organized, multitask, and prioritize during busy hours
- Attention to detail for pricing, product placement, stocking, and store cleanliness
- Willingness to learn product knowledge and recommend products confidently
- Basic social media skills are a plus
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow store policies and manager instructions
Work Environment
This position is based in a beauty retail store. Employees may be required to stand for extended periods, assist customers throughout the store, restock shelves, organize merchandise, and help maintain a clean sales floor.
