The Mental Health Therapist will have face-to-face contact to develop strategies intended to achieve the measurable outcomes contained in the treatment plan. The Therapist will also identify personal criteria and define alternatives for opportunities in the living, learning, working, and socializing environments. The Therapist will be experienced in the treatment of adolescents with serious emotional disturbances and treating dually diagnosed recipients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conduct assessment services, create treatment plans, perform individual, family and group psychotherapy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with children or adolescents. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills; effective communication skills (written and oral); ability to problem solve; ability to motivate, develop, and coach individuals and groups; ability to appropriately confront issues; and ability to think creatively.
