*Experienced Habilitation Training Specialist(HTS), Training will be provided for the right
candidate. Assist clients with Daily Living and community outings. Must be a self starter.
*Understand and work with individuals who have physical or mental issues
*HTS will assist with caring for individuals cognitive disorder by providing personal assistance, emotional support and personal care.
* Collaborate with community resources in development of employment planning
* Complete and maintain appropriate documentation
* Place clients in jobs
* Work under time constraint deadlines
* Perform job coaching tasks
* Use software tools including Microsoft Software
* Arrange for on-site job coaching, to help clients adapt to work.
* Maintain close contact with clients during job training and placements to resolve problems and evaluate placement adequacy.
* Monitor and record clients progress to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions:
High School diploma
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills a must
Ability to conduct mock interviews
Ability to match candidates with job openings
Ability to collaborate with employers and candidates
Reliable Car, A People person, Able to work with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF files.
