Job Overview
Sage Leaf Reno (MidTown) seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead a new restaurant in Midtown. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food/beverage service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitallity experiences. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. The Restaurant Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing the restaurant’s reputation and standards for excellence and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of FOH operations, including service, and cleanliness.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and development to ensure a motivated and efficient team.
- Implement and monitor Toast POS smooth transaction processing.
- Control bar inventory levels, linen ordering, staff training and accountablity.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures and balancing registers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training to foster a positive work environment.
- Develop operational procedures to optimize efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and manage labor costs,
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations.
- Extensive knowledge of beverage service, wine and cocktail knowledge, food preparation, cooking techniques.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with prior supervising or team management experience.
- Background in hospitality management, culinary arts, or related fields preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to train staff effectively in food handling, service procedures, and safety protocols.
- Experience managing budgets, inventory control, and cost optimization strategies.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
