Are you looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing? We’re looking for a dependable Molding Process Technician Assistant to join our production team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Primary Operator to help produce high-quality molded products while learning the injection molding process from experienced professionals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who wants to grow into a skilled trade. Candidates with general injection molding experience are encouraged to apply, but we are willing to train motivated production professionals with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Primary Operator with the operation of injection molding machines.
- Monitor production to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform material handling and keep production areas clean and organized.
- Support machine setup, startup, and changeovers.
- Conduct visual inspections of molded parts.
- Record production information and report quality concerns.
- Fill in for the Primary Operator during vacations or absences.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Work effectively with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience required.
- General injection molding experience is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
