Job Description
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Property Manager
Type of Position: Full-Time (M-F, 9am to 5pm) 37.5 hrs/wk
Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant will provide general office supportive services, working closely with all office personnel and clients to enhance our housing services and communications in a busy apartment complex.
Duties and Responsibilities
· The first point of contact with residents and provides a high level of customer service
· Communicates with residents regarding questions or concerns and takes steps to resolve issues or refer them to appropriate associates
· Develop forms and systems for the organization of the office and documentation, which may include inventories and master lists/charts, outlook calendars, computer directories of files
· Takes and enters accurate work orders and works closely with contractors and maintenance to ensure that jobs are handled appropriately and promptly
· Maintains working knowledge of leasing policies and procedures and assists with performing functions related to leasing and lease renewal
· Maintains a working knowledge of company policies, applicable local, state, and Federal laws and regulations, affordable housing programs, and other applicable policies and procedures to ensure compliance while performing tasks
· Responsible for providing general office supportive services, including but not limited to typing, filing, copying, faxing, collating, maintaining computer and hard files, answering multi-telephone lines, maintaining office inventory and ordering authorized office supplies, arranging for repairs and servicing of office equipment, accepting reviewing, and entering rental applications, maintain and update waiting list, schedule appointments, preparing routine correspondence, screening and distributing incoming mail, and delivering correspondences to apartments as needed.

- Strong keyboard skills
- Good communication skills and professional personal presentation
- Great attention to detail and stress tolerance
- Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Education and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in administrative or clerical activities is an added advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
