MEP Estimating Coordinator
Position Overview
INTEG is seeking an organized, motivated, and detail-oriented MEP Estimating Coordinator to support the continued growth of our Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical estimating department.
This position will report directly to the MEP Chief Estimator and will be responsible for coordinating the daily estimating workflow, bid assignments, deadlines, document control, vendor quotations, proposal preparation, estimate reviews, and estimating system development.
The role is primarily focused on coordination, review, organization, and process management rather than routine takeoff production. However, the selected candidate must have enough estimating knowledge to perform or verify brief takeoffs when needed for conceptual budgets, preliminary pricing, scope validation, or temporary workload support.
Brief takeoffs will generally be completed using Bluebeam Revu, while the department continues transitioning toward FASTest as its primary estimating platform.
This position is ideal for someone with early-career experience in construction estimating or bid coordination who is looking to develop into a future estimating leadership role.

- Coordinate the daily workflow of Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical estimators.
- Assist the MEP Chief Estimator with bid assignments, priorities, and workload distribution.

- Organize and follow up on vendor, supplier, and subcontractor quotations.
- Maintain bid calendars, project folders, document logs, and estimating records.
- Perform first-level reviews of quantities, labor hours, material pricing, equipment quotations, and scope coverage.
- Identify missing scope, duplicated scope, inconsistencies, pricing gaps, and potential bid risks.
- Assist with preparing complete estimates and proposals for final review by the MEP Chief Estimator.
- Support value engineering, bid leveling, proposal revisions, scope comparisons, and conceptual budgets.
- Prepare or verify limited takeoffs using Bluebeam Revu when required.
- Coordinate the onboarding and development of new estimators.
- Support the implementation, development, and maintenance of the FASTest estimating database.

- Help standardize estimating procedures across all MEP disciplines.
- Lead internal estimating coordination meetings when requested.
- Maintain clear communication with the estimating team regarding deadlines, priorities, and outstanding information.
- Provide regular status updates to the MEP Chief Estimator.
