We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Mathematics Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to inspire young learners and foster a love for mathematics. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate diverse instructional strategies and learning technologies to meet the needs of all students.
- Teach a broad range of mathematical topics.
- Design assessments aligned with curriculum standards to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Facilitate classroom discussions, manage behavior effectively, and create an inclusive environment conducive to learning.
- Incorporate laboratory experiments and dissection activities to enhance understanding of biological sciences such as cell biology, genetics, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and organic chemistry where applicable.
- Provide individualized tutoring and academic advising to support student achievement outside regular class hours.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and integration of learning technology tools.
- Prepare students for standardized testing through targeted review sessions and practice exercises.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to scientific research, classroom management, special education strategies, and education administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven classroom experience teaching middle school mathematics or equivalent educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical disciplines including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, differential equations, and proof techniques.
- Skills in classroom management, behavior management strategies, and working with special education needs are highly valued.
