Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Handle multiple lines for more than one location
- Commute
- Go to more than one location as needed
- Follow up on Account receivables
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Perform medication administration under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Provide exceptional patient service
- Utilize knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to support clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols
- Perform basic life support measures when necessary
Experience:
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred EPIC
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
