New Einsteins Academy is a private early childhood program with multiple locations in Chicago. At our Ravenswood location, we are looking for a warm, experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who brings patience, consistency, and genuine care into the classroom. Someone who enjoys the rhythm of toddler days, can stay organized without losing creativity, and feels comfortable leading a group of young children through routines, learning, and play.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in any field with 6 semester hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
OR
- 30 semester hours of college coursework with 6 semester hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience working in a licensed child care setting
- Experience in a toddler classroom or lead teacher role preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a toddler classroom through daily routines and transitions
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
- Support each child’s individual development and daily needs
- Maintain a safe, organized, and well-run classroom environment
- Communicate with families in a clear, consistent, and supportive way
- Work closely with other teachers to support a strong team environment
