Char Steakhouse is looking for an experienced Grill Line Cook who takes pride in their craft, shows up every shift, and can think independently in a fast-paced kitchen.
We are looking for someone who already knows how to work a professional line and understands that consistency, urgency, and teamwork matter every single day.
Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday
- 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Closed Sunday and Monday
What We're Looking For
- Previous grill line experience in a full-service restaurant or steakhouse.
- Ability to cook steaks and proteins accurately to temperature.
- Works with urgency without sacrificing quality.
- Thinks ahead instead of waiting to be told what to do.
- Shows up on time, prepared, and ready to work.
- Maintains a positive attitude under pressure.
- Works well as part of a team and helps others when needed.
- Keeps a clean and organized workstation.
- Takes pride in serving food they would be proud to put in front of their own family.
Requirements
- Proven grill line experience.
- Ability to multitask during busy dinner service.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to perform the job safely and report to work fit for duty. Drug or alcohol impairment while working will not be tolerated.
