Wild Roots Preschool & Daycare is seeking a dependable and organized Cook to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a childcare environment and takes pride in preparing healthy meals for young children.

- 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, school food service, restaurant, or institutional food preparation preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and reliably
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks according to menu and licensing requirements
- Follow Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines
- Use the KidKare Food Program system for menu management, meal counts, and required food program documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Complete required food program paperwork and meal counts
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs
- Ensure compliance with state licensing and health department regulations
