Maximum Salary: 61,130.00

Position Description
Maintains construction project records and processes related paperwork; reviews and modifies contract documents to reflect changes to original agreement; monitors records to verify compliance with state and federal laws and determines payments due contractor for work completed. Work requires contact with contractors. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
Essential Duties:

Coordinates with construction inspectors and contractor's staff to ensure project records accurately reflect changes and agreements.

May attend pre-construction meetings to instruct contractor's bookkeeper on record-keeping procedures.

Monitors contractors' compliance with federal requirements related to Equal Employment Opportunity and wages.

Monitors on-the-job training program and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Small Business Enterprise programs; submits required monthly reports.

Prepares and submits monthly and final estimates; checks calculations against work log and estimate form to verify work is completed before payment is made.

Composes, reviews, and maintains correspondence, reports, supporting documents and files.

Maintains filing structure for each construction project within assigned area.

Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Grad or Equivalent in general education.
Experience: No experience required. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Related college education or relevant technical training may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
