Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and responsible CDL (Class B or higher) Driver to operate a rear-load trash collection truck. The ideal candidate will ensure safe driving practices, excellent customer service, and compliance with all company, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections in line with DOT and company standards.
- Safely operate a rear-load truck along assigned routes for residential and/or commercial collection.
- Lift and load residential waste and recycling containers, using manual and hydraulic equipment as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Complete daily logs, route sheets, and vehicle condition reports.
- Provide courteous service to all customers, addressing concerns when necessary.
- Monitor waste for prohibited items and report issues as needed.
- Respond quickly to spills or debris, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Attend all required team meetings and safety trainings.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid CDL (Class B or higher) with air brake endorsement.
- Good driving record and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable with outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Monday to Friday beginning at 5:00 am
- Occasional rotating weekends
