Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Gutter Installation & Exterior Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gutters and exterior building components to ensure optimal performance and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of gutters, downspouts, and related exterior components using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct thorough inspections of existing exterior structures to identify issues such as leaks, damage, or improper installation.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute projects according to specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam for project documentation and communication.
- Perform surface preparation tasks including caulking, sealing, and applying protective coatings to ensure weatherproofing.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when needed for site preparation or material handling.
- Assist with other exterior services such as siding installation, trim carpentry, stucco work, or masonry repairs as required.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction site work or exterior building services is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
- Familiarity with various construction trades including roofing, carpentry (frame and trim), masonry, plastering, welding, and concrete finishing.
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects involving gutter systems or exterior renovations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites and adherence to OSHA standards.
- Additional skills such as plumbing, electrical experience, fixture installation, glass installation, or restoration work are advantageous but not required. Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
