Duties
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles without a Commercial Driver’s License (Non CDL) to transport products along designated routes.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently, utilizing heavy lifting techniques and proper safety procedures.
- Deliver products to retail stores promptly, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely stock replenishment.
- Merchandise store displays by organizing products, pricing items correctly, and creating attractive visual presentations to maximize sales.
- Engage with store personnel to provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and assist with product placement or upselling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate route driving logs, delivery documentation, and inventory records to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while on the road to ensure personal safety and that of others.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of route driving, commercial driving principles, and safe driving practices.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with store staff and team members.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory, calculating prices, and managing sales transactions.
- Ability to upsell products by identifying customer needs and promoting relevant items effectively.
- Proficiency in merchandising techniques including pricing strategies and product placement.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Organizational skills to manage deliveries efficiently and keep detailed records accurately.
