Job Title: Allergy Tech
Reports to: Clinical Supervisor, Allergy
Pay Rate: Based on Expereince (EMT-B/I requires 1 year and MA requires 2 years)
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
The individual will perform specialized skin tests to diagnose allergies, prepare patients’ treatment regimens, explain insurance coverage and benefits for allergy testing and treatment, provide patient education, and perform any other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administration of allergy testing, and the formulation and preparation of the allergy treatment regimen
- Perform allergy skin testing
- Educate patients and advocate for strong compliance throughout the immunotherapy treatment plan
- Monitor test trays and other allergy supplies and order as needed based on projected patient volumes
- Promptly respond to provider, medical staff, and patient questions
- Responsible for cleaning and prepping patients room
- Responsible for stocking patient rooms
- Perform any additional related duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- LPN or EMT license (or higher) with minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare clinic required;
- MA- 2 years required
- Allergy with experience preferred
Physical Demands Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Pay Rate is Based on the Required Experience for EMT-B/I or MA
