We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropractor to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients to determine their chiropractic needs.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's specific condition and goals.
- Utilize various chiropractic techniques, including trigger point therapy and acute pain management strategies, to provide effective treatment.
- Monitor patient progress through regular observation and adjustments to care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including exercise, nutrition, and ergonomics.
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with medical terminology standards and practice regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in chiropractic practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid NY state license to practice chiropractic medicine.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management techniques.
- Experience or training in occupational health is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and developing effective care plans.
- Excellent patient observation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
