Position Description
Position Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Immediate Supervisor: Assistant Superintendent of Special Education & PPS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.
- Identify and analyze areas of behavior and socialization needs.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Analysis and write Assessment Reports.
- Administer appropriate tests and protocols in keeping with state laws and mandates
- Review, interpret, and integrate previous and present assessment, family, and school related data in reports and recommendations
- Analyze and interpret individual student academic, social and behavior data.
- Attend IEP meetings to present assessment results.
- Modify academic, social and behavior programs based on data analysis.
- Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), goals and objectives.
- Train classroom staff on BIP implementation and data collection
- Provide consultation for classroom behavior management plans.
- Explain and provide training regarding behavior management principles and methods
- Establish and maintain behavior observation files and logs.
- Maintain, oversee and report on progress records for individual students
- Apply appropriate positive behavior management procedures in working with students, and staff at all grade levels; including reinforcement materials and visual aids.
- Adhere to legal schedules and timelines.
- Conduct in-service trainings relative to the Behavioral and Educational Programs and Services
- Conduct interviews with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Conduct observations of the child in the school and/or home.
- Provide community resources as needed
- Meet with families and provide consultation services pertaining to behavior management, if needed.
- Assist in the development of parent education curriculum, training, and support.
- Maintain all required signature logs, treatment records, and reports.
- Consult with outside professionals and agencies.
- Maintain Confidential Records
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Possession of Certification or eligibility as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst required
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general counseling periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program.
- Ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned.
- Ability to use appropriate language and accompanying techniques with adolescents on one-to-one basis, as well as in groups.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers and parents.
- Skill in oral and written communication.

Pay: $92,937.00 - $112,966.00 per year
