Irvine Youth Soccer league (IYSL) Offers beginning soccer for kids ages 2-5 in the Irvine, CA area. We are looking to hire a few enthusiastic youth soccer coaches to help us run sessions at our Irvine locations. While no experience is necessary, we would like candidates to understand the game of soccer and enjoy working with kids. We offer rewarding work in a positive environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and will be committed to helping kids have fun while they learn the fundamentals of soccer.
Requirements:
- 4:30-7:00/8:00 PM Monday-Friday (Flexible Schedule. Do not need to be available every day)
Responsibilities:
- Guide kids to interact in basic youth soccer activities
- Help kids to participate and achieve a basic understanding of soccer
- Demonstrate basic soccer technique
- Implement specialized training curriculum for very young players
- Ensure programs are effective, safe, and fun
- Prepare players for the next steps of more organized soccer without parent involvement
Qualifications:
- Experience as a soccer player preferred but not required
- Ability to guide boys and girls ages 2-5 at beginner skill levels
- Passion for youth soccer and kids
- Ability to build rapport with players and provide a fun environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience as a youth soccer coach not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
