What You'll Do
As Kitchen Manager, you'll oversee all back-of-house operations and play a critical role in delivering an outstanding guest experience through strong leadership, food quality, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop kitchen team members to build a high-performing culture
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth, efficient shift execution
- Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, presentation, and recipe adherence
- Manage food, labor, and controllable costs to achieve financial goals
- Monitor inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste reduction initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Recruit, train, and retain top kitchen talent
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment
- Collaborate with restaurant leadership to achieve sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction goals
- Drive continuous improvement in kitchen efficiency, productivity, and team performance
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Kitchen Manager experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, inventory management, and labor controls
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Stable employment history with demonstrated career progression
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing high-volume, full-service, or fast-casual restaurant operations
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety certification
