Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time HR Generalist to support a variety of human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, compliance, training, and payroll-related activities. This role requires a professional who can effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization while helping maintain a positive and compliant workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource for employee relations matters, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate and administer employee merit review processes.
- Manage benefits administration and employee enrollment activities.
- Oversee time and attendance tracking and related reporting.
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing coordination, and onboarding.
- Assist with employee training and development initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Support workplace safety programs and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Perform general administrative duties related to human resources operations.
- Assist with payroll-related activities, including Monday morning payroll processing support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of human resources experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels, including both shop-floor and office personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general HR administrative functions.
Preferred
- Previous human resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with HRIS, timekeeping, and benefits administration systems.
- Familiarity with employment law compliance and workplace safety programs.
