Prime Management Group is recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for a well-established industrial operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong electrical leader to oversee the maintenance and reliability of medium-voltage electrical systems while leading a team of skilled electricians.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise a team of licensed electricians.
- Plan and coordinate preventative and corrective electrical maintenance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot medium-voltage power distribution systems.
- Oversee switchgear, substations, transformers, motor control centres (MCCs), protective relays, and related equipment.
- Support capital projects, shutdowns, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related electrical discipline.
- Journeyman Electrician License (Master Electrician designation is a strong asset).
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience leading electrical maintenance teams.
- Experience working with medium-voltage electrical systems (4.16kV, 12.47kV, 13.8kV, 24kV or higher).
- Experience with switchgear, substations, transformers, protective relays, MCCs, and industrial power distribution.
Preferred
- Experience in heavy industrial environments such as mining, aggregates, cement, steel, power generation, chemical processing, pulp & paper, or refineries.
- Experience with PLCs, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, VFDs, SCADA, motor controls, and industrial automation.
