Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items by suggesting specials or pairing options to maximize sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring complete satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain smooth operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering functions and process payments securely using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess duties is a plus
- Culinary experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required
