Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and outdoor patios as needed.
- Execute detailed cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch areas to ensure optimal cleanliness.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens for clients.
- Manage floor care activities such as carpet cleaning, sweeping, scrubbing tiles, and maintaining hardwood or laminate flooring.
- Use proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or appliances to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal in accordance with health guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients, understanding their specific needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning results.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or hotel housekeeping experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and outdoor work experience.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely; capable of heavy lifting when required.
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Familiarity with laundry procedures and custodial responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of cooking is a plus for assisting with light household chores beyond cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
