Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Accountant you will:

Perform facility related revenue accounting activities within prescribed time schedules and guidelines

Pro-actively communicate with stakeholders on monthly financial results and answer questions about said results as necessary

Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness

Perform and summarize variance analysis for patient revenue and accounts receivable, with the goal of becoming a subject matter expert

Prepare and resolve outstanding issues on assigned account reconciliations

Field and assess ad-hoc requests, producing clear and concise reports for stakeholders

Review the work of others for appropriate documentation and accounting guidelines

Support and drive Team/Company initiatives

Contribute to the identification/prioritization of business/process solutions and plan/execute testing scripts to validate solutions meet business requirements

Understand and maintain strict adherence to internal controls over financial reporting
Qualifications:
- BS in in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required

2+ years of experience in corporate accounting or finance required; healthcare experience preferred

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite

PeopleSoft Hyperion experience preferred
-
Working knowledge of patient accounting systems and revenue cycle process

Candidate must be able to work independently and efficiently, with acute attention to details and deadlines. Candidate should have a can-do, will-do attitude, with the ability to influence others towards positive results and actions. Candidate must demonstrate teamwork and partnership across multiple different lanes and have the ability to interact professionally with Company teammates.
