We are looking for a tutor for the Dallas and Arlington area.

- Develop and implement tailored reading curricula that align with high school standards and individual student needs
- Utilize innovative learning technology to create interactive lessons that boost engagement and comprehension
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions focused on improving reading skills, vocabulary, and analytical thinking
- Design effective lesson plans that incorporate best practices in classroom management and differentiated instruction
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, adjusting strategies accordingly
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages active participation, communication, and a love for reading
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student growth and address specific learning challenges
Experience
- Prior classroom experience or tutoring experience working with high school students is highly preferred
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment techniques for adolescent learners
- Familiarity with learning technology tools used in educational settings to enhance instruction
- Experience working with children or adolescents in diverse educational environments, including special education or early childhood education is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Background in classroom management and working with students of varying abilities ensures a positive learning atmosphere
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning styles and developmental levels
