Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Room Attendant/Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to meet guest needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to management for prompt resolution.
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with additional janitorial tasks or special cleaning projects as needed to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping within hotels or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and hospitality standards.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; management experience in housekeeping is a plus.
