Job Overview
Hello! We are looking for a new team member at Molly's Cafe & Deli in Gaslight Village! We are looking for someone with hospitality experience to work a variety of lunch and evening shifts, and someone who is comfortable leading a team as a closing Shift Lead a couple nights a week. This position is included in the tip pool.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.
- Operate Toast POS system to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all areas including food prep stations, dining spaces, and kitchen environments.
- Assist in training new team members on food handling, POS operation, and customer service protocols.
- Manage shift responsibilities such as inventory checks, closing procedures, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus.
- Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is preferred but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
