Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and reliable Program & Membership Coordinator to join our small nonprofit association team. This role supports member initiatives through planning our continuing education program, membership services, and administrative organization. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys wearing various hats, values structure, and is energized by collaborative environment and fostering positive experiences for members.
Responsibilities
Program & Event Coordination
- Plan and coordinate continuing education events from planning through execution
- Plan and coordinate resident outreach and engagement initiatives
- Plan and coordinate oral health community outreach events and volunteer activities
Membership Services
- Support membership onboarding and member services
- Manage membership reports and database updates
- Assist with member benefit programs, including Peer Review
Operations
- Collaborate on initiatives to enhance the member experience
- Maintain accurate records and project timelines
- Provide administrative support for organizational programs and committees
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in member relations, program planning, or association experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving pieces
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong written/verbal communication and organization skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office required; experience with Salesforce, Mailchimp, Adobe, or similar CRM and marketing platforms is a plus.
- Positive, professional demeanor, friendly and responsive to members
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Comfortable taking ownership of projects
- Proactive and solution-oriented, able to identify areas for improvement and bring forward ideas
- Thrives in a small team where flexibility, reliability, collaboration, and creativity are valued
Nice to Have
- Experience in member-based organizations or professional associations
- Familiarity with dentistry
- Salesforce experience
