Job Title: Regional Director of Workforce Partnerships
Location: Richmond Based (Regional Travel Required)
Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 + Commission/Performance Bonuses
(OTE: $ $150,000-$180,000)
About the Role:
We are seeking a high-energy Field Sales and Partnership Manager to lead the expansion of our turnkey training programs within the community college sector that solve the 'skills gap' with zero upfront capital investment." This is not a traditional "pitch and move on" sales role; you will be responsible for identifying target colleges, negotiating long-term partnership agreements, and managing the end-to-end launch of new vocational programs. You will serve as the bridge between our operations team and college administrators to ensure student success and program growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify & Close: Prospect and secure new partnerships with community college leadership (Deans of Workforce Development and VPs of Economic Development).
- Program Launch: Navigate the college’s internal approval processes, including MOUs and Board of Trustee approvals, to get programs off the ground.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary account manager for existing college partners, ensuring high enrollment and operational excellence.
- Funding Navigation: Assist partners in identifying WIOA grants and state workforce funding to support student tuition and program costs.
Required Qualifications:
- Higher Ed Sales Experience: 5+ years in B2B field sales, specifically selling into community college workforce development or "SLED" (State, Local, and Education) sectors with WIOA/Grant Literacy.
- Program Management: Proven track record of launching complex, multi-stakeholder projects or vocational programs.
- Bureaucracy Fluency: Demonstrated ability to navigate public sector procurement and committee-led decision-making.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 35% throughout Virginia to meet with administrators on-site.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with transportation industry requirements is a major plus but not required (we will train).
Preferred Skills:
- Existing relationships with Community College Presidents or Workforce Deans in Virginia.
- Experience with revenue-share business models or public-private partnerships.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
