Material Handler
FULL TIME
HOURLY WAGE: $10.50
Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc. is seeking 2 Full time Material Handlers to support our Middlebrook Pike warehouse. Ideal candidates will be energetic, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
The hours would be 8:00 – 4:30 Monday-Friday or as needed with occasional Saturdays/Sundays. The Material handler is Responsible for inspecting, classifying and routing all material received at the Middlebrook Pike Warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure all material received at The Middlebrook Warehouse is classified, labeled, and routed properly.

Assist in maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the facility by keeping the dock area and the exterior of the building clean and free from debris and clutter. Responsible for keeping aisles and fire lanes clear at all times.

Responsible for operating the baling machine according to safety guidelines.

May assist in unloading and loading trucks as needed; may be certified to operate the forklift.

May work as a truck helper when needed.

May work as a back-up ADC Attendant when needed.

May be responsible for operating baler.

Responsible for attending all required meetings and in-service training.

Responsible for working under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Lead Forklift/Baler Operator to accomplish all the departments essential duties and responsibilities, including all other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
