We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant café team! Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems for processing retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment by adhering to food safety standards and food handling protocols.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including food safety practices and basic food handling procedures.
- Support team members during busy periods by serving drinks quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Helping with general lobby and back of house cleaning including dishes and equipment when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or café experience is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of beverage service and drink preparation techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues.
