Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza doughs, toppings, sauces, and cheeses according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools efficiently and safely
- Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures are followed meticulously to maintain food safety standards
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to produce consistent, high-quality pizzas every time
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen workspace, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly
- Support the team during busy service periods by managing multiple orders with speed and accuracy
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation within the food industry, especially in pizza or restaurant settings
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling safety protocols
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Experience with high-volume production environments and recipe adherence
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
