About T-FAT’S Auto Spa
T-FAT’S Auto Spa is a growing automotive asset protection and concierge maintenance company serving Tampa’s luxury, exotic, performance, and everyday vehicle owners.
We are expanding our studio and mobile operations and are looking for talented, dependable people who want to develop a real career, not simply collect a paycheck.
Our technicians work in both environments:
- At our professional detailing studio
- On the road through our fully equipped mobile operation
This is not a “mobile-only” or “shop-only” position. Every technician must be prepared to work wherever the business and client experience require them.
What You’ll Do
- Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing
- Complete maintenance details, deep cleanings, and vehicle preparation
- Safely operate mobile detailing equipment, pressure washers, vacuums, and chemicals
- Travel to homes, businesses, condominiums, and partner locations
- Support studio services, including paint correction and ceramic coating preparation
- Inspect your own work before presenting the vehicle for final quality control
- Maintain clean, organized mobile units, work bays, tools, and equipment
- Communicate professionally with clients and teammates
- Document vehicle condition and report any concerns before beginning service
- Help create an exceptional experience from arrival through vehicle delivery
- Participate in ongoing technical, operational, and leadership training

Professional detailing experience is preferred, but we will consider talented candidates with strong work ethic, mechanical ability, hospitality experience, or experience working carefully with vehicles.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to drive company vehicles safely
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and work around vehicles for extended periods
- Availability for a full-time schedule, including some Saturdays
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Smartphone with dependable communication access
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Training and Development
Selected candidates enter the T-FAT’S G.I.F.T.E.D. Workshop, our hands-on training and evaluation program.
You will be trained and evaluated in:
- Detailing technique and vehicle safety
- Mobile and studio operating procedures
- Time management and job preparation
- Quality-control standards
- Client communication
- Equipment care and inventory discipline
- Teamwork, accountability, and leadership potential
Advancement is earned through demonstrated quality, consistency, efficiency, attendance, and ownership, not simply time on the job.
