SHIFT: 1:30PM - 8PM - M-F
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in infants.
- Provide attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring their overall safety and well-being.
- Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform ongoing care plans.
- Foster positive relationships with children and their families through clear communication and regular updates on developmental progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to plan engaging activities that support early childhood development principles.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while demonstrating excellent classroom management skills to promote a calm learning atmosphere.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices in infant care.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for infants.
- Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining a nurturing approach to caregiving.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues professionally.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the classroom environment.
