Overnight Caregiver Needed (4 Nights/Week) – Long-Term Client
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to provide overnight support for a long-term client living with ALS. This position offers consistent hours, stability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life.
Wage: $20/HR
Schedule:
- 4 overnight shifts per week
- Long-term, ongoing assignment
- Reliable and consistent hours
Responsibilities:
- Overnight monitoring and support
- Assistance with mobility, repositioning, and transfers as needed
- Personal care and activities of daily living
- Ensuring client comfort and safety throughout the night
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to safely assist with transfers and mobility needs
- Ability to perform physically demanding caregiving tasks and work with adaptive equipment as needed
- Experience with lift equipment, transfers, or high-acuity clients is preferred
About the Client:
Our client has ALS and has expressed a preference for a caregiver who is physically strong and confident assisting with mobility needs. The client's primary concern is safety and fall prevention, and they would feel most comfortable with someone who can safely support their transfers and movement needs.
Qualifications:
- Caregiving experience preferred
- Experience with ALS, neurological conditions, or mobility assistance is a plus
- Dependable, patient, and professional
- Ability to maintain client dignity, comfort, and safety

- Providing companionship and conversation
- Preparing and serving meals
- Help with bathing and grooming
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Shopping, errands and transportation (Client specific)
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous caregiving experience (preferred)(Not Required-We Will Train)
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
- A commitment to being present and providing quality care
- Empathy, patience, kindness and respect
- Ability to carry out direction, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage the demands of the job
- Ability to pass a background check
