Franks, Koenig & Neuwelt is a respected Florida law firm dedicated exclusively to representing injured workers. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who understands the pace of a busy practice, and values providing excellent service to clients during difficult times.
The ideal candidate will have prior Florida workers’ compensation or litigation experience and be comfortable managing files from intake through resolution. Responsibilities include maintaining calendars and deadlines, coordinating hearings, and mediations, communicating with clients, opposing counsel, carriers, adjusters, and medical providers, obtaining and organizing records, preparing routine documents for attorney review, updating case management software, and assisting attorneys with all aspects of case progression.
We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A professional attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential. Experience with case management software is helpful, and Spanish speaking ability is a plus.
