Whirlwind Music Dist. Inc. is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Building Maintenance Custodian to ensure our entire facility remains clean, safe, organized, and fully operational. This role combines comprehensive indoor janitorial duties, minor repairs and occasional grounds maintenance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong physical stamina, thrives in an independent working environment, and will comfortably cover the entire building on their feet throughout the day.

Janitorial & Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, occasionally buff floors; sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies; clean mirrors, windows, and fixtures.

Maintenance & Repairs: Perform minor, nontechnical repairs such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and fixing leaky faucets.

Safety & Security: Monitor premises for safety hazards, such as icy sidewalks or broken items.

Equipment Operation: Safely use and maintain equipment like vacuums, floor scrubbers, pressure washers and snow blowers.

Waste Removal: Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables, as well as clean up debris.

Facility Setup: Rearrange, move, or set up furniture and equipment as needed.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift over 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with hand tools and cleaning chemicals.

Reliability: Strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Experience: Previous custodial or general maintenance experience is typically required.

Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.

Bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.

Working at heights, such as on ladders.
