Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that encourages creativity, social skills, and academic growth in a lively classroom setting.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Supervise children during various activities including homework assistance, arts and crafts, sports, theater, and outdoor play.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including administering first aid when necessary and responding promptly to emergencies.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and school staff to support each child's individual needs, including those requiring special education or behavioral management strategies.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that promotes childhood development through engaging activities such as tutoring, childcare routines, or camp-style events.
- Maintain organized records of attendance, incidents, and progress reports to ensure compliance with program standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, camp counseling, or tutoring roles is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred to ensure safety during all activities.
- Experience working with children with special needs or behavioral challenges is a plus.
