Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter / Foreman with strong leadership abilities to oversee job sites, manage crews, and ensure projects are completed on time and to our quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise carpentry crews on residential and/or commercial job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure work is completed to company standards and project deadlines
- Train and mentor team members, promoting a strong work ethic and efficiency
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project managers
- Maintain a safe and organized job site, following OSHA guidelines
- Troubleshoot issues and provide on-the-spot solutions
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in carpentry and construction
- Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Proficiency in framing, finish work, and general carpentry skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
